To me, the funniest album name is the Alessi Brothers’ “Long Time Friends,” because that’s a really defensive assertion for two twin brothers who formed a singing group as kids to make

"We're identical twin brothers who have had a singing group since we were little kids, but guess what? We're also Long Time Friends."

@alex the other implication they are defending against being that they are lovers?

@alex the vague use of "longtime" also conspicuously avoids "always" or "forever". There was a beginning or an end to this friendship.

@alex the more I think about it the more I'm delighted by the idea of a duo putting out an album acknowledging that while things were once good, they are basically arch-nemeses now. "This was a really difficult album to make," they'll say, interviewing separately out of necessity. "Because I despise him."
