Though I haven't used Twitter in quite some time, today I finally pulled the plug on my account.
It felt like the right thing to do, especially after seeing this garbage: https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2023/08/x-nee-twitter-wants-to-collect-your-biometric-data-and-employment-history/
As one commenter said: "Elon Musk wants my biometric data? I know exactly which finger to give him."
@killyourfm haven't logged in since last November. Didn't want to delete it in case a spammer would take over my account. What's the harm in leaving it dormant?
@mlabowicz Leaving it dormant assumes I'll go back to it. I suppose there's no harm, but I don't want to be counted as one of Twitter's (erm, "X's") users.
